ELLO-2

Ello: The invite only social network you should know about.

Coming out of Central USA, Ello is an intriguing invite only social network that has gone from 0 to over 180,000 users in the 4 months since it launched. So what makes Ello different from any other social network? Well, firstly there are no ads, and there never will be. Period. Secondly, they will never sell any of your personal data onto third parties like Facebook or Twitter. So you’re probably thinking, why am I going to want to be on there? Good question. Because it is probably the single largest space in the world for creatives to share and discuss art, writing, photography, books, films… anything creative really.

Ello’s online buzzing creative vibe is fuelled by it’s zero-restriction posting – do you want to post all 3000 posts from your gap year? go for it. Do you want to write an entire novel and post it on the site? no problem. The flowing user interface and minimalist layout and type make sure that the content is the focus, not the website.
